RSNA will start accepting applications May 1, 2018 for Fall 2019 admission.

Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia's application process requires an application through the Graduate School at The University of North Carolina Greensboro (ApplyYourself) first.

Apply online via The Graduate School website (Apply Now) to start the process.  The UNCG deadline for applications to attend RSNA is Oct 1, 2018, for the 2018 academic year.  You must be complete with the process of application to The Graduate School at UNCG before you can apply to RSNA.  Once that is completed, you will receive an email from UNCG with a link to our website.  This link will connect you to RSNA where you will create an account in ApplicantStack by pressing the "apply" button.  The RSNA application fee is $80.00 and must be paid at that time.  Your application is your responsibility and email is an integral source of communication with RSNA.  Please check your email at least daily.  Also, two evaluation forms are sent automatically when you create your account.  The evaluations are sent via email to the individuals listed as your Immediate Supervisor and a Professional Colleague.  They will receive them and follow a link included in the email to complete and submit back to us online.  While RSNA does not have a separate "application", we do have requirements for admission which are detailed under the Prospective Students link above.

The application deadline is October 31, 2018.  If an applicant is qualified for an interview, they will be contacted to schedule it as soon as their application is complete to RSNA.  Please remember, all applications are reviewed carefully and not all applicants will qualify for an interview.

If you are selected for an interview, the  interview dates will start the first week of November 2017.

The dates are scheduled for:  Nov 7-8, Nov 14-15, and Nov 21-22 2018.

Prerequisites for admission to UNCG's Graduate School can be found on their website: UNCG School of Nursing.

Official transcripts (paper or electronic) from all colleges and universities must be submitted directly to RSNA and UNCG for an application to be considered eligible.  Official transcripts should be mailed to:

An official GRE score report must be sent to RSNA, school code 3733.  This is required for RSNA regardless of GPA (unless you have a MSN in which case it is waived for RSNA).

If you are currently enrolled in course work to meet prerequisites, verification of completion must be submitted to RSNA and UNCG before an interview will occur.  Interviews will not be granted to individuals who have any prerequisites outstanding or academic provisions that have not been satisfied.

For all eligible applicants, personal interviews are required.  RSNA will only interview applicants who meet RSNA's prerequisites for admission.  RSNA's Admissions Committee reviews the credentials of each applicant and an invitation for a personal interview may be extended to the qualified applicants. Submitting an application by the application deadline does not guarantee an interview. Specific dates for interviews are predetermined and interviews are only conducted on these dates. Following the interview, final admission decisions are made. Admission to RSNA is for the beginning of the following Fall semester. Full-time participation in the program is required; therefore, students are urged to plan finances carefully to avoid the need for part-time employment.   It is very important to monitor the status of your application at both institutions.

For questions regarding the application process, please email Betty Coats at.

NOTE:  When you arrive, via the link sent from UNCG, at the Application Fee payment button page, you MUST pay your application fee before your application will be considered. **Please note:  If you are re-applying from the 2017 Application Season, you will have to pay the application fee.  It is not waived.**
